Gas Sensor Soak Test Rig A bespoke test rig for long-term soak-testing of Gas Detectors. This was designed and built for City Technology (Portsmouth) (http://www.citytech.com/) to test the MicroPel tm range of sensors Two cabinets were produced, each capable of holding up to 1500 samples. Project included application of multiple switched-mode power supplies and custom designed linear power supplies. Very high overall system current necessitated the use of multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards utilising flood-fill to minimize volt drop. |
